Ingredients for Marinade
1/4 cup (60 ml/ 4 tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup (60 ml/ 4 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 cup (250 ml) Peppadew® Hamburger Relish
Mix all ingredients together. The marinade is now ready to use. Baste your chicken (whole, pieces, breasts) generously, and then braai over medium-hot coals until cooked.
Baste chicken breasts generously with marinade, then braai over medium-hot coals until cooked. Slice thinly, then use slices to top a triple-decker braaibroodjie: buttered sliced of white bread topped (in layers) with avo, cheese and braaied chicken with extra Peppadew® Hamburger Relish. Grill the braaibroodjie carefully over cooler coals until golden brown on both sides. Serve immediately.
Pour marinade over raw chicken pieces (bone-in) in a deep oven proof dish, then roast for 1 hour 15 minutes at 180 C. Serve with rice and veggies or salad.
